"I bought this for my dry heels. I’m definitely starting to see a difference using it only three to four times a week. I feel with consistent use, my heels will look like they’re fresh from a pedicure. My only complaint is that the bottle is small, but a little does go a long way!"

Fantastic product
"This is the best product. I have dry, red patches of skin on my face. Everything I have tried stung and made the area burn and feel worse. This is the only product that has worked. It doesn’t cause any stinging/ burning and the dry red patches have healed. I highly recommend this product. It comes out of the tube very thick, but as it is heated up by your fingertips, it spreads easily and doesn’t feel goopy or thick. I use it on my hands as well as my face."

Great product, bad smell
"Works amazingly well. I get the worst dry and stinging skin on my face every winter and this has prevented it 100%. I find it’s less greasy than aquaphor and when applied at night before bed, it’s still locked in when I wake up! Now, the only downside to this product is the smell. Ugh. It smells like spit. I’ve tried to use different amounts but each time it’s just as bad. Not pleasant when your dry skin is mainly under your nose!"

Healing, and not greasy. Perfect!
"So wonderful!"

Q&A
Do you still carry efflorescence paste, a medicated cream worked like a charm.
Hi Claudette, Thank you for reaching out. We love that you have been a long time Skinfix fan. That product has been updated over the years and the closest formula we have now is our eczema+ Targeted Body Balm. This rich, concentrated, 0% water balm targets eczema, dermatitis, irritation and dryness on the body. A supercharged, clean pharmaceutical™, Targeted Body Balm uses 3 active pharmaceutical ingredients to treat eczema (2% colloidal oatmeal), relieve dry, itchy irritated skin (7% sweet almond oil) and soothe and protect the skin barrier (15% zinc oxide). These powerful actives are blended with hydrating humectants, aloe and allantoin; skin-lipid replenishing emollients like jojoba, grapeseed and sunflower oils; and protective occlusives like beeswax. Targeted Body Balm is clinically proven as effective as a 1% hydrocortisone cream at treating the symptoms of eczema and irritation and is proven to help rebuild the skin barrier. Target and combat rough skin patches, reduce flare-ups and soothe severe dryness by locking nutritious moisture in, and sealing irritants out. This eczema balm is safe to use daily. Use in place of, or as an adjunct to most eczema medications. We hope this helps! Please do not hesitate to reach out to info@skinfix.com if you have any further inquiries!
Can this be used on lips?
Hi there, Thank you for reaching out. Our Remedy+ 911 Ointment is completely safe to use on your lips if you are looking for a great multitasking product. We do also have a lip specific product. Our Barrier+ Lip Repair Balm is a lightweight, natural-finish balm that helps soothe, soften, and hydrate dry, chapped lips on contact. It has a low molecular weight Jojoba oil that delivers lightweight emollience, and vital nutrients including vitamin e, vitamin b complex, copper and zinc. We hope that helps! Thanks
Is there any way to get the formula for the efflorenscence paste you used to make for skin irritations. ?The product you make now is good, but not nearly as effective as this old product that you no longer make. I still have a tiny bit left that I use for emergencies. I have never experienced the fast and effective healing I had from this product. I would like to see if a compounding pharmacist can re-create it since you have long ago discontinued it.
Hi Lisa, Thank you for reaching out. I will pass on your request to our team, but the formulas used, whether discontinued or not, are proprietary. Our Eczema+ Targeted Body Balm is the closest formula to the original recipe from the pharmacist Thomas Dixon’s Skinfix balm of the 1800's. Our eczema+ Targeted Body Balm is the original formula with a couple of tweaks. Both formulas contain active levels of zinc oxide, allantoin and sweet almond oil to help soothe, moisturize and protect the skin. The eczema+ Targeted Body Balm also contains an additional active - colloidal oatmeal - which is a powerful skin soother and protectant. We removed one ingredient from the original balm - balsam tolu - because it’s a potential allergen for some with sensitivity. That is the ingredient that gave the original balm the “pinkish” color and smell. Otherwise, eczema+ Targeted Body Balm is true to the original formula (but better)! We hope that helps! 💙️
