That said, it was developed with dry skin in mind—if you're acne-prone and tend to be more combo or oily, we’d recommend trying our Barrier Balancing Water Cream instead. "This is HG product for me. I am in my 40s and have dry sensitive skin. I also use tretinoin every night and this moisturizer has saved my skin from irritation and peeling. Is this the original formula?
Hi Veronica, Yes! When we re-launched our barrier+ Triple Lipid Peptide Cream with our patented BL-3 complex, many members from our community voiced that they preferred the original version. After much internal discussion, we&#x27;ve decided to re-launch that original formula, which does not have BL-3 last year in June. All product sold since then is the original formulation. The original offers the same hydration benefits -- it hydrates instantly and over time -- and we&#x27;re excited to have had the opportunity to hear our community. Is this cream fungal safe?

I&#x27;m seeing any peptides listed in the ingredients. What are they called here?
Hi Michelle, Thank you for your question. We list ingredients by their INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) names, which can definitely be a little confusing! Peptides are short chains of amino acids—the building blocks of proteins—and the ones we use in Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream are rice-derived. On the ingredient list, you’ll see them listed as Hydrolyzed Rice Protein. So even though it doesn’t have “peptide” in the name, rest assured it still functions as one in the formula.
Can dry/combo skin use this?
Hi Zion, Absolutely. This was formulated for all skin types as it is non comedogenic. This formula is typically best suited for those with dry/combo skin. It’s designed to absorb well and provide long-lasting hydration, making it a great option for all-day moisture and barrier support. We hope this helps!
If I order this product during the summer, will shipping in the heat or having the box left in a community mailbox in the heat damage the product?
Hi Galus, Thank you for your question- We temperature test all of our products for both extreme cold and heat, to ensure it is stable and able to withstand the many different weather conditions for North America. Does the mini version have a pump like the standard size, or is it just open on top?
