FAQ

  • Is this safe for sensitive and/or eczema prone skin?

Yes! Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream is clinically proven to be safe for sensitive skin and is formulated without common irritants, making it a great option for eczema-prone skin too. It’s rich in barrier-supporting ingredients to help keep skin calm, hydrated, and resilient.

  • Is this safe for acne-prone skin?

Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream was tested to be non-comedogenic and is safe for acne-prone skin. It can be especially helpful if you’re using prescription acne treatments, since it restores the moisture they can deplete. That said, it was developed with dry skin in mind—if you're acne-prone and tend to be more combo or oily, we’d recommend trying our Barrier Balancing Water Cream instead. Water Cream is a better option if you're prone to fungal acne, too.

  • Can I layer this with actives?

Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream was formulated with hydrating, barrier-supporting ingredients, so it layers well with most actives—including retinoids, vitamin C, AHAs, BHAs and prescription topicals. Its soothing formula can actually help buffer potential irritation, making it a great companion product in your routine. As always, if you’re trying a new combination for the first time, we recommend patch testing or introducing products gradually to see how your skin responds.

  • Is this safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream has been reviewed and tested for safety on a panel of people who aren’t pregnant or breastfeeding. It does not include any ingredients known to be unsafe while pregnant or breastfeeding, but as with any new product, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider if you're concerned.

Reviews

I’ve been using this moisturizer

"I’ve been using this moisturizer for 2+ years and love it! I’ve tried others but always come back to this one. It’s moisturizing without feeling greasy and the container is convenient since I don’t like dipping my hands into a jar."

— Kailyn B. (5/5)

Im obsessed with the Triple

"Im obsessed with the Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream, my skin is loving how hydrated it is during the day, I love how juicy and healthy it looks after using your products, I totally recommend this amazing cream"

— Luz S. (5/5)

This cream is a real

"This cream is a real find and a personal favorite of mine. I use it both day and night; it is especially indispensable after using retinol, as it soothes irritation and reduces flaking. I’ve been using it for three years now—after a long search and trying out various brands available in the US market. I’m from Ukraine, where the cosmetics industry isn't very developed and the SKINFIX brand isn't sold at all. I also want to add that the formulations of this cream—and other SKINFIX products—really suit me and are to my liking."

— Nataliia N. (5/5)

This is the very best

"This is the very best face cream I’ve ever used! It’s the last thing I put on my face before my sunscreen. My rosacea has improved a lot since adding this plus the Hypochlorous acid. This cream is rich but doesn’t leave me feeling greasy. My skin looks so hydrated as well. It’s also the only, cream my young adult daughter uses on her perioral dermatitis."

— Allison L. (5/5)

I decided to try this

"I decided to try this after using Obagi hydrate for many years. I am loving this triple lipid peptide cream! It's turning out to be a great replacement for that product. There is a nice weight to the cream, not too oily, not watery nor too thick. I'm finding it to be perfect for daily use over my encapsulated retinol product. My skin feels soft, smooth, and looks hydrated. I also like that the delivery system is superior to the Obagii Hydrate in that you can easily get the product out of the container, and you can buy replacement inserts which cuts back on plastic waste."

— Kathy P. (5/5)

This is a great barrier

"This is a great barrier protection moisturizer. I’ve been using it for several years. Skin is a brand that I really really enjoy and I don’t even know why I stopped using them. I’m so happy that I’m back to using it cause my face feels amazing."

— Chylissa B. (5/5)

I'm in my late 60's

"I'm in my late 60's and I've used Skinfix regularly for just about a year. I'm am amazed at the results, not only is my skin softer, my makeup doesn't look like I'm an old lady! That's a bonus! Pricing is so reasonable, especially with the refills. A little goes a long way."

— Vonna M. (5/5)

I love the way this

"I love the way this cream feels. It is soothing and seems to soak into the skin, leaving it feeling plump and hydrated. It leaves a nice subtle glow and is not greasy. I like the dispenser and that its refillable (smart)."

— Leelee M. (5/5)

With fall and winter approaching,

"With fall and winter approaching, this cream has quickly become one of my must haves! It provides the perfect level of rich, lasting hydration without leaving my skin feeling heavy or greasy. My skin feels incredibly soft, smooth, and nourished after using it, and I genuinely believe this is one of the best creams on the market. An absolute standout and one I’ll be reaching for all season long!"

— Kelly B. (5/5)

My holy grail for years!

"My holy grail for years! My sensitive, rosacea, retinol battled complexion loves this moisturizer so much. It wears amazing under makeup! I also love the dispenser and being able to purchase refills to reduce waste."

Q&A

Is this the original formula?
Hi Veronica, Yes! When we re-launched our barrier+ Triple Lipid Peptide Cream with our patented BL-3 complex, many members from our community voiced that they preferred the original version. After much internal discussion, we've decided to re-launch that original formula, which does not have BL-3 last year in June. All product sold since then is the original formulation. The original offers the same hydration benefits -- it hydrates instantly and over time -- and we're excited to have had the opportunity to hear our community. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions, we're here to help! 💙
Is this cream fungal safe?
Hi May, The lipid rich formulation is not fungal acne safe. Our barrier+ Barrier Balancing Water Cream is though!! https://skinfix.com/products/barrier-balancing-water-cream
I'm seeing any peptides listed in the ingredients. What are they called here?
Hi Michelle, Thank you for your question. We list ingredients by their INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) names, which can definitely be a little confusing! Peptides are short chains of amino acids—the building blocks of proteins—and the ones we use in Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream are rice-derived. On the ingredient list, you’ll see them listed as Hydrolyzed Rice Protein. So even though it doesn’t have “peptide” in the name, rest assured it still functions as one in the formula.
Can dry/combo skin use this?
Hi Zion, Absolutely. This was formulated for all skin types as it is non comedogenic. This formula is typically best suited for those with dry/combo skin. It’s designed to absorb well and provide long-lasting hydration, making it a great option for all-day moisture and barrier support. We hope this helps!
If I order this product during the summer, will shipping in the heat or having the box left in a community mailbox in the heat damage the product?
Hi Galus, Thank you for your question- We temperature test all of our products for both extreme cold and heat, to ensure it is stable and able to withstand the many different weather conditions for North America. This should not have any bearing on when you order and how it ships during the summer. If you are concerned, you can also purchase our products at your local Sephora store-we hope this helps!
Does the mini version have a pump like the standard size, or is it just open on top?
Hi Erin, Thank you for reaching out- the mini Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream does not have a pump. It is an open jar to dispense with clean fingers. We hope this helps!
